Washington-ALSHARQIYA, November 15: The online retail company, Amazon, plans to lay off about ten thousand workers in administrative and technological jobs this week, in the largest cut of its kind that the company has made so far. Reuters quoted informed sources as saying that the exact number of employees who will be laid off from their jobs may vary with the review of units within Amazon itself. Reuters stated that the reduction in the number of employees in the company is due to the macroeconomic environment that Amazon and other companies are facing, which is experiencing a state of uncertainty.
