Al-Sudani: The development path will create a new Iraq and a trade corridor to the world

Baghdad - ALsharqiya, June 8: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani announced that there are approximately 80 locally manufactured goods being exported outside Iraq, stressing that the vital "Development Road" project will enable Iraq to become an economic corridor serving the entire world. Speaking during his meeting with a number of sheikhs and tribal leaders in Iraq on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, al-Sudani said that Iraq can be an economic corridor serving global trade and the countries of the region, and that the development road will create a new Iraq, adding that Iraq has established its position on various issues and the independence of political decision-making. Al-Sudani stressed that Iraq has a major role in the region, commensurate with its status, as the government has placed its supreme interests in the face of events in the region. Al-Sudani added that no one imposes their convictions on Iraq, and he believes in partnership with the countries of the region.
