Al-Sudani: Gasoline imports will end this year.

Baghdad - Al-Sharqiya, July 7: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani launched the implementation work for the Diwaniyah refinery expansion project with a capacity of 90,000 barrels per day and a cost of $800 million, announcing that gasoline imports will end this year. Al-Sudani confirmed in a televised speech that after completing the refinery projects in Maysan, Diwaniyah and Najaf, the transition will be made to exporting petroleum products, adding that the Diwaniyah refinery will process liquefied gas with a capacity of 180 tons per day, in addition to improving gasoline with a capacity of 10,000 barrels per day.
