Al-Sudani follows up on the digital transformation file in Iraq

Baghdad - ALsharqiya, November 24: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani stressed Iraq's ability to develop the digital transformation sector and achieve a qualitative shift in it, during his reception in Baghdad of the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, Dima Al-Yahya. The two sides discussed the necessity of Iraq moving forward in the field of digital transformation within a comprehensive strategy for digital business and artificial intelligence that is consistent with the government's ambitions and the growing international requirements in this field. Al-Sudani stressed during the meeting that his government has laid the foundations for digital transformation and worked on this file in more than one path and included it in administrative and economic reforms, in addition to openness to cooperate with the organization in finding projects that serve Iraq and the region.
