Al-Sudani follows up on automation procedures for companies

Baghdad - ALsharqiya, March 6: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has tasked the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and the Iraqi Federation of Industries to work on simplifying electronic payment procedures within a time frame of 6 months. Al-Sudani's office stated in a statement that the Prime Minister has tasked the three parties with cooperating with the relevant departments to implement the business automation and digital transformation project, which will speed up company registration procedures and enhance electronic payment systems. He also called for obligating company owners to open a bank account in one of the authorized Iraqi banks, as this will be a basic condition for completing the registration procedures.
