Al-Sudani affirms his firm position in rejecting the Israeli aggression against Iran.

Baghdad - Al-Sharqiya, August 11: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, who is visiting Baghdad, sponsored the signing of a memorandum of understanding related to security coordination on the common border. During his reception of Larijani in Baghdad, al-Sudani renewed Iraq's principled and firm position towards rejecting the Israeli aggression against Iran, stressing his government's rejection of everything that leads to the escalation of conflicts at the regional and international levels, and Iraq's support for the US-Iranian dialogue. For his part, Larijani conveyed the greetings of Iranian President Pezeshkian to al-Sudani, stressing his government's keenness to develop and maintain relations in various fields, especially the railway link between the two countries and the link with the development road and major corridors in the region.
