Paris-Sharqiya, October 3: Al-Qamar was the most prominent present at the Elia Saab House show, which was presented on the sixth day of the Paris Fashion Week activities. It decorated the show stage and served as inspiration for a group of looks that were distinguished by their practical and elegant character.
Designer Elie Saab chose the Parisian Palais de Tokyo to present his ready-to-wear collection for spring and summer 2024. He decorated the show stage with a huge moon, and some designs were decorated with motifs and prints evoking this silver planet in its various stages. The collection was titled Moonlight Shadow, and it included more than 60 colorful and vibrant looks that enhance the brilliance of every woman who wears them and make them shine like moonlight.
At the beginning of the show, Saab presented a group of white looks that were decorated with perforations, black polka dots, and English brocade, followed by looks with streamlined materials and bright, vibrant colors such as pink, green, coral, and yellow, in addition to transparent neutral colors that were decorated with silver and gold touches.
Asymmetrical cuts dominated a large portion of the daytime and evening looks, adding a modern character to the designs, many of which were executed in denim, silk, organza, muslin, and rayon materials... The house’s logo also appeared, with its circular decoration, printed on the materials and adorned the belts while accompanying the designs. Shoes and bags made of raffia and leather.
