Nineveh - Al sharqiya , August 10: Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader al-Dakhil held an expanded meeting with a number of Yazidi, Christian, Shabak, and Turkmen survivors to follow up on their cases, in implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, who pays great attention to the survivors' file. During the meeting, al-Dakhil confirmed that a package of decisions had been taken, including preparing lands for the second batch, approximately 200 plots in Sinjar District, and directing the Northern Municipality to prepare 400 plots of land for distribution to survivors, stressing that the local government bears a humanitarian and moral duty to stand by them and guarantee their acquired rights under the law.
