Amman - Al Sharqiya, August 8: The draw for the AFC U-17 Championship qualifiers placed the Iraqi national youth football team in Group 5. The Iraqi youth team will play in its group against Australia, the Philippines, Jordan, and Bhutan. The group matches are scheduled to be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, from the 22nd to the 30th of November 2025. The qualifiers come within the framework of preparations for the AFC U-17 Championship finals, which will be held in Saudi Arabia in 2026.
