A new heat wave hits Iraqi cities

Baghdad - ALsharqiya, July 26: Starting today, Saturday, Iraqi cities were hit by a new heat wave, with temperatures reaching 50 degrees Celsius and possibly exceeding that in limited areas. Weather forecasts showed that Iraq's atmosphere will continue to be affected by a surface thermal depression, making the weather hot to very hot in most parts of the country. It is advised to avoid direct exposure to the sun, especially during the afternoon.
