Basra - Al Sharqiya August 4: The son of a Basra MP threatened to dismiss the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra after the latter refused his request to allow one of his female employees to devote herself to studying for a master’s degree in Iran. Websites circulated a voice recording of Hussein Al-Haidari, the son of MP Alaa Al-Haidari, in which he expressed his objection to the legal margin followed, threatening to dismiss him from his position, adding, “I am with you, and time is long.”
