Saudi-Alsharqiya 5 August: A lyrical duet entitled "Eternal Love" brought together for the first time the Iraqi artist Majid Al-Mohandes and the Syrian artist Asala.
And this work, which was launched a few days ago, was uttered by the poet Faiq Hassan, Asala’s husband and business manager Majed Al Mohandes
Majed Al-Mohandes said that he presents this partnership in a new way to his audience, and he hopes that he will be successful in this experience, which he describes as "special and distinctive."
In turn, Asala expressed her great happiness with this new artistic partnership with the engineer, adding: "I usually do not hide my feelings and do not speak what is in my mind in public, but today my husband, Faiq, wanted to present his feelings in this elegant manner, and this work culminated in the presence of Majid Al-Muhandis with me." .
As for the godfather of the work, Faeq Hassan, he confirmed that this singing duet would not have succeeded without the concerted efforts of all those who participated in it.
He explained that after a long artistic journey with his friend Majed Al-Mohandes on the one hand, and after years of love and marriage with Asala, he had to translate his love for them through a work that brought them together, so he had no choice but to have the subject of the work centered around what unites the three, namely “love.” which he wished would be eternal."
He also added that the fans of the two stars had an important role, in addition to the successes they achieved in their joint concerts and his presence with them, adding: "All this contributed to this duet seeing the light."
It is noteworthy that the duet, which was filmed by the Turkish director Nehat Otabashi, was composed by Mahmoud Khayami, while the music was arranged by Medhat Khamis.
