3 banner shows on the second day of Parisian Couture Week

Paris-ALsharqiya, July 8: The second day of the Paris Week of Haute Couture was full of presenting important collections, as it included 8 shows, which were opened by designer Rami Al-Ali at 11:30 in the morning and concluded by designer Giorgio Armani at 6:30 in the evening, and included performances for each of The role of Chanel, Alexis Mabille, Stephane Rolland, Julien Fournie, Alexandre Vauthier, and Ronald Vander Kemp, from which we chose 3 stations that we highlight below

Chanel's fall-winter 2023 haute couture show was presented outdoors on the banks of the Seine, and the group, which included about 50 looks, was characterized by a romantic, dreamy nature that was inspired by the elegance of French women in the fifties of the last century.

The house's iconic symbols were present in all the details of this show, the first of which was the tweed material, which was presented with modern lines and a renewed style. The neutral character prevailed over the colors, with a remarkable presence of white, black, and navy, to which some refreshing touches of red, pink, orange, gold, and silver entered. As for accessories, all models wore Mary Jane shoes that were coordinated with black nylon stockings. Hats and the "bandana" scarf appeared in some looks, while the necklaces, bracelets, and earrings that we used to see in the house's shows were absent. The Chanel bride shone in a white, medium-length organza dress, decorated with puffy sleeves and ruffles on the collar, and was accompanied by a short veil of tulle.

French designer Stéphane Roland presented his show at the famous Opéra Garnier, and he wanted it to be in the form of an evening in honor of the late Greek opera singer Maria Callas, who had the title "Voice of the Century" and who celebrates this year the centenary of her birth.

The designer was keen to combine the atmosphere of fashion, opera, and cinema in a collection that pays homage to the strong personality and remarkable elegance of this exceptional artist. The luxurious minimalist style dominated the looks of the group, which numbered about thirty, and were distinguished by their geometric lines and sharp cuts. Most of the designs were executed with gazar, muslin, and satin duchesse... Many of them were decorated with golden leather pieces that were executed in the form of flames. As for Stephane Rolland's bride, she was embodied by the famous Spanish model Neves Alvarez, who appeared in a narrow white muslin dress accompanied by a long veil that touched the ground.

The Armani Prive show was distinguished by its luxurious character and designs, which required a lot of artistic creativity to implement. The show included about 65 looks, and the models walked on a platform decorated with a monochromatic checkerboard pattern, while the designs were inspired by roses and lacquer boxes that are widely used in the Far East.

Designer Giorgio Armani's touches were evident in all designs through the use of shiny fabrics, various decorations, in addition to elaborate tailoring. He succeeded in seamlessly blending his distinctive style with oriental motifs.

Pants reappeared in this group of haute couture, and they matched close-fitting jackets, while roses bloomed on many winter looks in a modern style. This group was influenced by different worlds and cultures, embodying a long journey from West to East, and it embodied a delicate balance between luxury and simplicity in a renewed modern style. At the end of the show, the Armani bride appeared in a red gown that evoked the innate elegance of the rose.
